Freshroast’s Origins
Freshroast is a privately owned company with origins as a regional coffee roasting company dating back to the early 1980’s, when work was first undertaken for Melitta Coffee Company.
Chris Brooking, the current MD, joined the business in 1989 and from those early days as a coffee roaster and tea supplier he has overseen the diversification and growth of the business over the last 35 years and counting.

Diversification & Growth
This started with the addition of vending and beverage system products when the business relocated to the current purpose built premises in Elland, West Yorkshire in 1992 and in the years since then the business has evolved to become what is now a fully integrated manufacturer and supplier of beverage ingredients.

The company still roasts and packs coffee of course, but is now also recognised as a service-driven company which blends and supplies private label beverage products to match the needs of any size of business.
The service ethos has seen white label packing become a core part of the business model and the ability to pack and ship small and large orders at short notice is a key part of what the business now represents.
